A contract which, as in the past, the saltworker would sign with the owner of the saltworks and the municipality. Today he would sign it – live, in front of visitors – with the Museum of Saltmaking, the Municipality of Piran and Soline d.o.o. on the occasion of the Saltworkers' Holiday in Piran.

The contract includes provisions which are in the interest of all participants and even bind them to further joint development of the area. The main connection between all of them is SEA SALT, for centuries the most important economic factor in Piran.
