I have been comissioned by a UK-based publisher to write a comprehensive guidebook to mountain biking in Slovenia. The research for the book will take place next year. The publisher is Cicerone Press, well known for their guidebooks to trekking and biking around Europe (they have already published two guides to walking in Slovenia).

The guide will include around 40 of the best rides that Slovenia can offer as well as recommendations for accommodation, bike hire, repairs etc.

I am looking for any help that other members may be able to offer. From offers of accommodation while I'm conducting the research next year, to recommendations for good rides or even for people to keep me company while I'm out on the trails, any help will be greatly appreciated.
